2 county rail crossings to close for repairs

Two local railroad crossings will be closed next week for repairs.

Pushville Road in Greenwood will be closed at the railroad crossing east of U.S. 31 from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. June 24. This road currently is used as a detour for Worthsville Road traffic, which is closed for road construction.

During the railroad repairs, motorists can use County Road 100E, County Road 600N and U.S. 31 as a detour. Sheek Road, between Worthsville Road and Central Park Boulevard, already is closed and will remain so for another 60 days. Drivers can take County Road 75E to Stop 18 Road to bypass construction on Worthsville Road and County Road 125E.

Paul Hand Boulevard, on the south side of Whiteland, will be closed at the railroad crossing June 25. During construction, drivers can use Graham Road, Earlywood Drive and U.S. 31.
