Corey Joe Dennison, 27, of Columbus, passed away on Friday, June 12, 2015, in Edinburgh.
He was born Sept. 4, 1987, in Columbus. He was the son of Johnny Dennison of Shelby County and Meloney Kay Simpson of Columbus.
He married Valentina Roberts on Sept. 4, 2007. She survives.
He is also survived by sons, Avery Allen Joe Dennison of Columbus and Ashton Martin Dennison of Bloomington; daughters, Airyana Burlynn Hadley of Columbus, Jayla Marae Dennison of Columbus and Corrie Kay Dennison of Columbus.
He is also survived by a brother, Austin Shane Dennison of Bloomington; sister, Caitlin Maria Ford of Columbus, brother-in-law, Emilio Davila of Columbus; nephew, Emilio James Davila, Jr. of Columbus; grandparents, Martha Johnson of Franklin, Susie Dennison of Shelbyville, Luther Simpson of Columbus, Sharon Williams of Columbus, Carol Simpson of Edinburgh, Mike Dennison of Shelby County and Cosseta Dennison of Shelby County and lots of loving aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was preceded in death by a son, Justice Lee Dennison and great-grandparents, Coy and Edith Simpson.
He worked for the family-owned concrete company. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends, playing basketball, and watching movies.
Rev. Guy Hardin will conduct a funeral service at 7 p.m. Tuesday with calling from 4 p.m. until time of service at Who-So-Ever-Will Community Church in Edinburgh.
Arrangements were entrusted to Eskew-Eaton Funeral Home in Edinburgh.
