To the editor:
Well, the May 30 edition of the Daily Journal sports section was apparently written and edited by the flower-arranging staff of the paper. They reported in more detail than their usual Cliff’s Notes fashion about Indiana University’s first baseball game in the 2015 NCAA tourney. What they forgot to mention was that IU pulled off a triple play in the first inning — something all the pro teams together only accomplish three times or less a season.
Hmm. Don’t you think those pansies look nice behind first base?
