GREENWOOD
Tommy J. Thomas, 50, of Greenwood, passed away Sunday, May 31, 2015, in Greenwood, surrounded by his family and friends.
Tommy was born Aug. 27, 1964, in Lebanon to Galen G. and Wanda J. (Tinsman) Thomas.
He owned and operated Hendricks County Plumbing.
Tommy enjoyed being outdoors, golfing, fishing and hunting with his brothers.
He loved watching his daughter play softball, playing cards with his friends and spending time with his family and friends.
Tommy will be remembered as a man with great character, strength, amazing love for his family and a friend to everyone. He will be greatly missed by all.
He is survived by his loving wife, Kelly (O’Connor) Thomas of Greenwood; three children, Justin and his wife, Emily, of Whiteland, and Nick and Karlee, both of Greenwood; grandson, Branson; sister, Marilyn Thomas of Indianapolis; three brothers, Rich Thomas, his wife, Pam, of Crawfordsville, and Jeff Thomas and John Thomas, both of Indianapolis; several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews; best friend, Darrell Browning of Greenwood; and his dog, Pugzlee.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and a sister, Gail Thomas Smoot.
A funeral service will be conducted at 7 p.m. Friday at Jessen Funeral Home, Whiteland Chapel, 729 U.S. 31 North. Visitation will be from 4 p.m. until service time Friday at the funeral home.
