Local Texas Roadhouse restaurants are sponsoring a law enforcement fundraiser that will raise money for Special Olympics Indiana.
Law enforcement officers will collect tips from Texas Roadhouse customers this week. All proceeds benefit Special Olympics Indiana.
The local events will be 4 to 10 p.m. Wednesday at 270 Marlin Drive, Greenwood; and 4 to 10 p.m. Friday at the Southport restaurant, 4335 Southport Crossing Drive, Indianapolis.
The Tip-A-Cop event is part of the Law Enforcement Torch Run program. No flier is necessary. Customers are encouraged to donate gratuities to law enforcement “celebrity waiters.”
