Minor damage from weekend storm

Trees fell across roads and a utility pole was knocked down by strong winds in a storm Saturday night.

Johnson County sheriff’s deputies were called for two trees that were knocked down and a utility pole that was down, Sheriff Doug Cox said. No other damage was reported.

Dispatchers received calls from Bargersville and Franklin, where trees or branches also were down and blocking roads, according to the police log.

No damage was reported, Johnson County Emergency Management Agency director Stephanie Sichting said.

A tree blocked a road near Trafalgar after the storms. The Trafalgar Fire Department was called in to remove the tree, Sichting said.

No flooded roads were reported, despite the county receiving more than an inch of rain Saturday, Sichting said.
