State Road 252 is closed near the interstate in Edinburgh due to a culvert collapse.
The Indiana Department of Transportation said the road is closed to motorists in both directions. The collapse was discovered late Tuesday, and the road is closed between Interstate 65 and County Road 800E.
Engineers have been working at the site, INDOT said. A detour has been marked.
The culvert will need to be repaired or removed. A decision about what to do will be made today.
