FRANKLIN
Sharon L. Rieger, 72, of Franklin, passed away on Thursday, May 7, 2015, at her residence.
She was born on Nov. 5, 1942, in Indianapolis to Cecil and Louise (Lewis) Johnson.
She married Roger Rieger on Sept. 4, 1965, at Garfield Christian Church in Indianapolis; he survives.

She was a 1960 graduate of Emmerich Manual High School in Indianapolis.
She was a member of Garfield Christian Church in Indianapolis and Franklin Memorial Christian Church in Franklin.
She had been a financial administrator for RCA and H.R. Mallory in Indianapolis and for various health care facilities, and a tax preparer for H&R Block in Franklin.
Survivors include her husband, Roger Rieger of Franklin; a son, Bryan C. Rieger of Franklin; a daughter, Shannon L. Ziliak (Jacob) of Atlanta; and five grandchildren, Isaac Rieger, Erin Rieger, Amelia Ziliak, Charlotte Ziliak and Harriet Ziliak.
She was preceded in death by her parents; an infant daughter, Nicole Louise Rieger; two brothers, Ronald Johnson and Montell Johnson; and one sister, Marvella “Sister” Underwood.
The Rev. Larry McAdams will conduct a service at 5 p.m. today at Swartz Family Community Mortuary and Memorial Center, 300 S. Morton St. (U.S. 31 South) in Franklin with visitation from 2 p.m. until service time today at the mortuary.
