Thefts

  • 1500 block of Franklin Place Court: Police responded at 8:47 p.m. Wednesday to a report of stolen electronics, including a television, game system and computer.
  • 4000 block of Dogwood Lane: Police responded at 4:55 p.m. Wednesday to a report of items being stolen from a residence over a period of time, including silver flatware, jewelry and cash, all valued at around $10,000.
  • ATI Physical Therapy, 2241 N. Morton St.: Police responded at 3:35 p.m. Wednesday to a report of a stolen vehicle.
  • 700 block of West Adams Street: Police responded at 5:55 a.m. Wednesday to a report of a stolen wallet.
  • 2100 block of Galaxy Drive: Police responded at 4:28 p.m. Tuesday to a report of theft.
  • 200 block of Walnut Street: Police responded at 10:58 a.m. Tuesday to a report of theft.

Johnson County

Criminal mischief

3300 block of Calcutta Drive: Police responded at 8:29 a.m. Wednesday to a report of a vandalized vehicle that was found with punctured, deflated tires, broken side windows and words spray-painted on it.

Personal-injury accident

11:48 p.m.  Wednesday — State Road 144 and Centerline Road: Brandon Alexander Yates, 21, New Whiteland; Elizabeth Biana Adamson, 19, Franklin; unnamed 2-year-old child; medics checked all three individuals who refused further medical treatment at the scene of the accident, which involved a vehicle that flipped over after the driver told police he swerved to avoid hitting something in the roadway, according to the report. Controlled substances were found in the vehicle.

The following people recently were arrested and booked into the Johnson County jail:

Nicolle Renee Olmstead, 32, 212 Russel St., Edinburgh; arrested on charges of criminal trespass and resisting law enforcement; held without bond. 

Craig T. Charles, 29, 2392 N. County Road 1050E, Charlottesville; arrested on a warrant for failure to appear in court; released on $500 bond.

Evan Scott Wood, 22, 1665 Leerkamp Drive, Franklin; arrested on a warrant for violation of probation; released on $250 bond.

Carlos Remigio-Becerill, 29, 2314 Silver Maple St., Indianapolis; arrested on a charge of driving without ever receiving a license; held on $1,000 bond.

The following people recently were arrested on a charge of driving while intoxicated and booked into jail:

Brandon Alexander Yates, 21, 261 Bittersweet Drive, New Whiteland; also arrested on a charge of possession of a controlled substance; held on $4,400 bond.

Brittani Natasha Smalley, 25, 10428 E. Dunham Court, Indianapolis; held on $2,000 bond.
