Gabriele Marko Houston, 67, passed away Tuesday, April 28, 2015, at her son’s residence in Franklin. She was a resident of Greenwood.
She was born Nov. 4, 1947, in Vienna, Austria, to Adolph and Gudrum (Brueheim) Marko.
Gabriele is survived by two sons, Aaron P. Houston and wife, Erica Anne Houston, of Indianapolis and Andrew A. Houston and wife, Jamia S. Houston, of Franklin; seven grandchildren, Isabel A., Zoe R., Coen J., Charles T., Henry J., Allison S. and Josephine J. Houston.
She was preceded in passing by her parents.
She was a graduate of Ohio University.
She was employed by Mid-American Clinical Laboratories as a laboratory supervisor and later worked for Community Hospital South.
A celebration of Gabriele’s life will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Flinn & Maguire Funeral Home, 2898 N. Morton St. (U.S. 31 North) in Franklin. Friends may call from 11 a.m. until the time of service Saturday at the funeral home. Burial will be at Greenlawn Cemetery in Franklin.
