Adam M. Cathcart

INDIANAPOLIS

Adam M. Cathcart, 36, Indianapolis, passed away April 16, 2015.

Adam was born in 1978, the son of Mike and Dana. He grew up in Greenwood; and, after graduating from high school in 1996, he moved to Santa Monica, California, where he was a production assistant. Adam enjoyed California, but his heart was always in Indiana.

Adam was an incredibly kind and caring person who had a strong impact on anyone he met. He made everyone feel special. He never met a stranger. He lived a life full of love and happiness. He was free-spirited, animated and quick-witted, and his smile could light up any room. You were always glad to see Adam and spend time with him.

Over the years he worked various jobs, but his passion was music and the arts. Adam also had a green thumb, and he loved animals.

Adam is survived by his loving parents, Mike and Dana; brother, Matt of Georgia; sister, Erin of California; Grandpa Chuck; many aunts, uncles and cousins; girlfriend, Kara; three longtime amigos, Marcus, JR and Jesse; a large supporting music family across the country; and his dog, Harlan.

Our hearts are broken at losing Adam, but we want to celebrate his life with you.

Come as you are and join us for a celebration of life at 5 p.m. Monday at German Park, 8600 S. Meridian St., Indianapolis.Â
