Sample some of the best locally crafted wine and beer April 30.
The Franklin Rotary Club’s annual Sip and Savor event will include the creations of local wineries and microbreweries, including Mallow Run Winery, Oliver Winery, Sun King Brewery, Taxman Brewing Co. and MashCraft Brewing Co. Desserts will be provided by Cocoa’s Cakery in Trafalgar.
The event will start at 6:30 p.m. at the Johnson County Museum of History, 135 N. Main St. in Franklin.
The evening also will include music by Davis and Devitt and a silent auction.
Tickets are $10 per person and include wine/beer tastings and desserts. Tickets are available for purchase at BMO Harris Bank, MainSource Bank, Mutual Savings Bank and PNC Bank, all in Franklin. Tickets also will be available for purchase at the door the evening of the event.
Proceeds from the event will be used to fund the club’s Rotary district grant project.
