Marcelle G. Davidson

Marcelle G. Davidson, 93, passed away Tuesday evening, April 21, 2015, at Greenwood Village South. She was a former resident of Muncie.

She was born May 31, 1921, in Nashua, New Hampshire, the daughter of Aimee and Evelyn (Maynard) Gagne. She graduated from Nashua High School in 1936 and moved to Muncie in 1946.

Marcelle worked as a cook for Muncie City Schools from 1961 to 1969 and formerly was a member of St. Lawrence Catholic Church.

She worked in the nursery on Sundays and in the day care of Southport United Methodist Church.

Surviving are three children, Beth Buscemi of Greenwood and Margaret Booher and Michael Davidson, both of Indianapolis; seven grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Hilary E. “Dave” Davidson; and one great-grandson, Marco Buscemi.

There will be no services, and private burial will be at Gardens of Memory Cemetery, north of Muncie. Friends and family may call from 11 a.m. to noon Friday at The Meeks Mortuary, 415 E. Washington St., Muncie.
