The Greenwood VFW is starting a new program to help local veterans find jobs.
Post 5864 will begin a monthly program called Operation GI Jobs that will help veterans learn to use computers, go online to research job opportunities, create resumes and get job interview tips.
The program will be 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday at the VFW, 333 S. Washington St. The second session will be June 1. More monthly sessions may be added soon.
The program is free to any veteran. The veteran should provide identification to prove their status.
