Phyllis Russell, 68, of Nineveh, passed away on Thursday, April 16, 2015, surrounded by her family.
Phyllis was born to the late James and Virginia Scobell-Slack in Brazil, on Dec. 31, 1946.
She worked at William H. Block Department Store, Western Electric and St. Francis Hospital in Beech Grove.
Phyllis is survived by her sister, Becki (Tom) Linville; brother, Bob (Alice) Slack; niece, Sarah Habr; brother-in-law, Michael Habr; nephews, Joe Habr, John and Michael Slack; and several great-nieces and -nephews.
Her favorite thing was traveling with her husband during his road trips as a truck driver.
Phyllis is preceded by her husband, Bill Russell; brother, Jim Slack; and sister, Theresa Habr.
A graveside service is scheduled for noon Wednesday at Forest Lawn Cemetery.
