GREENWOOD
Ross Bates, 32, died Friday, April 10, 2015. He was a resident of Greenwood.
Survivors include his mother, Ruth Ann (Al) Anderson Nickell of Indianapolis; his father, Rabon (Donna) Bates Sr. of Shelbyville; four children, Preston Bates of California, Ayden Bates and Dayton Bates, both of Rushville, and Emma Lynn Myers of Greenwood; financee, Shelley Cox of Greenwood; sister, Renee (Chris) Kibbey of Arizona; and six brothers, Rabon (Monica) Bates Jr. and Rudy Bates, both of Noblesville, Bobby Bates of Pennsylvania, Sam Bates of Indianapolis, Ryan Bates of Arizona and Richard (Stephanie) Bates of Texas.
A funeral service will be conducted at noon Saturday at Jessen Funeral Home, Whiteland Chapel, 729 U.S. 31 North. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until service time Saturday at the funeral home. Burial will be at Goddard Cemetery in Rush County.
