Couple restore church as wedding chapel

Dan and Patti Planker recently bought and renovated a chapel and reception hall in historic Morgantown called the Chapel at Morgantown.

The couple will host a grand opening and open house from noon to 3 p.m. April 25.

Italian restaurant set to open in Franklin

Franklin will soon be home to a Fazoli’s restaurant.

The new restaurant, which serves Italian-style cuisine, will open Tuesday at 2161 N. Morton St., Franklin.

Hours will be 10:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and 10:30 a.m. to 11 p.m. Friday and Saturday.

Company ready to battle mosquitoes

A new pest control company serving Johnson County promises to help rid backyards of mosquitoes.

Mosquito Authority treats backyards by killing the insect so that it stays out of yards for an entire season.

The treatment is safe for kids and pets and the company promises a 100 percent guarantee. Ten percent of profits are donated to Wounded Warrior project.

The owners are Mike and Andrea Freeman of Franklin.
