GREENWOOD
Teressa “Terry” Turnbill, 59, passed away Sunday, March 29, 2015, at her Greenwood residence.
The daughter of B. Arnold and Della (Hembree) Turnbill, Terry was born March 2, 1956, in Harriman, Tennessee.
Terry worked as a cook in several restaurants.
She was a member of Whiteland Church of Christ.
Terry loved playing video games and was a 10-year veteran of Runescape.
She played the guitar and enjoyed singing and writing poetry. She also was a talented artist.
Terry is survived by her mother, Della Turnbill of Greenwood; brothers, Keith (Dithas) Turnbill of Greenwood and Bruce “Arnie” (Christina) Turnbill of Wise, Virginia; nieces, Emily and Rachel; and nephews, Jake, Ben, Jason, Josh, Joel and David.
She was preceded in death by her father.
A memorial service will be at 7 p.m. Friday at Forest Lawn Funeral Home, 1977 S. State Road 135, Greenwood. Visitation will be from 6 p.m. until service time Friday at the funeral home.
