Golf foundation seeks specialty license plate

The Indiana Golf Foundation is collecting signatures for support of a new specialty license plate.

The foundation’s deadline is April 1 to obtain 500 signatures for the plate.

The Indiana golf office in Franklin is seeking the public’s help for reaching its required goal through the month of March. There is no commitment to purchase a plate with signing the application.

With an approved application by the state, license plates will be available at all Indiana BMVs with the First Tee of Indiana logo. Proceeds will benefit the Indiana Golf Foundation and the First Tee of Indiana.

The First Tee is an international nonprofit organization whose mission is developing youth through golf.

To help support the Indiana Golf Foundation’s goal of 500 signatures, stop by between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. Monday through Friday at the Indiana golf office, 2625 Hurricane Road, Franklin.
