Marshall Lee Kaserman

EDINBURGH

Marshall Lee Kaserman, 75, of Edinburgh, passed away Monday, March 23, 2015, at Johnson Memorial Hospital in Franklin.

He was born Aug. 3, 1939, in Franklin. He was the son of Ernest Marshall Kaserman and Goldie (Lamphire) Kaserman Gill.

He is survived by a sister, Norita Pierce of Edinburgh; a nephew, Gary (Carolyn) Chelf, and a niece, Kimbra Chelf, both of Edinburgh; a great-nephew, Jason (Erin) Chelf; a great-niece, Candance (John) George; four great-great-nephews; two great-great-nieces; and special friend, Aline Sosbe of Franklin.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and a sister, Christina Gill.

He was a 1959 graduate of Franklin High School and a member of Edinburgh Separate Baptist Church.

He retired from Precision Rubber Plate in Beech Grove after 42 years of service.

He enjoyed drag racing, traveling, wrestling, Indiana Pacers and University of Kentucky.

The funeral will be conducted by the Rev. Guy Hardin at 3:30 p.m. Friday at Edinburgh Separate Baptist Church, 1010 S. Main St. Calling will be from 4 to 8 p.m. today and from 1:30 p.m. until time of service Friday at the church. Burial will be at Rest Haven Cemetery in Edinburgh.
