NEW WHITELAND
Janet L. Merriman, 72, of New Whiteland, passed away Monday, March 23, 2015, at Johnson Memorial Hospital in Franklin.
She was born July 1, 1942, in Columbus, the daughter of Burl R. and Jean (Tungate) Anderson.
She married Carl G. Merriman on Oct. 5, 1984; and he preceded her in death on Dec. 11, 1992.
She is survived by sons, Curtis Dale Bailey and Jeff (Mary) Bailey, both of Edinburgh, and Terry (Loretta) Bailey of Commiskey; and a brother, Ronald Anderson of Edinburgh.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; a brother, Gary Allen Anderson; a granddaughter; and a great-granddaughter.
She was of the Baptist faith.
The funeral service will be at 2:30 p.m. Saturday at Eskew-Eaton Funeral Home, 302 E. Main Cross St., Edinburgh. Calling will be from 11 a.m. until time of service Saturday at the funeral home. Burial will be at Rest Haven Cemetery in Edinburgh.
