GREENWOOD
Laverne Peterson, 83, of Greenwood, passed away Sunday, March 22, 2015.
She was born June 23, 1931, in Bloomington to the late Jack and Mary Harper Morrison.
Surviving are a daughter, Shari (Bruce) Sallee; grandchildren, Heather (Andrew) Baker and Logan Sallee; and great-grandchild, Liam Baker.
In addition to her parents, Laverne was preceded in death by her husband, William Richard Peterson; a daughter, Patricia Peterson; and several siblings.
The family is being served by Flanner and Buchanan–Washington Park East, 10722 E. Washington St., where a funeral service will be conducted at 2 p.m. today. Friends may call from noon until time of service today at the funeral home. Interment will be at Washington Park East Cemetery in Indianapolis.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Ronald McDonald House of Indiana, in care of the funeral home.
