INDIANAPOLIS
Marilyn K. Jones, 54, of Indianapolis, formerly of Whiteland, passed away Friday, March 20, 2015.
She was born April 21, 1960, in Franklin to Dale W. and Helen R. (Blaich) Jones.
She was a 1978 graduate of Franklin Community High School and a member of Community Congregational Church in Franklin. She enjoyed fishing and spending time with family. She was a veteran of the United States Air Force.
She also had been a waitress at Golden Corral, Ryan’s Steakhouse and the Whiteland Truck Stop.
Survivors include her mother, Helen R. (Blaich) Jones of Franklin; sisters, Lois J. Holiday of Kouts and Sue Ellen Struckman of New Whiteland; a brother, Mark Allen Jones of Franklin; two nephews, Wesley E. Holiday of New Palestine and Walter E. Holiday of Peru; a niece, Laura Struckman of New Whiteland; a great-niece, Danica Struckman; and longtime friend Darrell Gibson of Indianapolis.
She was preceded in death by her father.
The Rev. Dan McLaughlin will conduct a service at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Swartz Family Community Mortuary and Memorial Center 300 South U.S. 31 (Morton Street) in Franklin. Friends may call from 10 a.m. until service time Wednesday at the mortuary. Burial will be in Hurricane Cemetery in Franklin.
