2 districts’ schools chiefs get contract extensions

Two school districts will continue with the same leadership for their students and staff through 2017.

Clark-Pleasant Superintendent Patrick Spray joined the district in 2013, and his new contract automatically will renew annually until either Spray or the board decide otherwise.

Spray will receive a 2.8 percent raise starting in 2016, bringing his salary to $144,000 annually.

Edinburgh’s superintendent, William Glentzer, is not receiving a raise with his one-year extension. The school board will allow Glentzer to be reimbursed for mileage within 50 miles of Edinburgh, and the district will put $5,000 toward his retirement fund.

Glentzer joined Edinburgh schools in December 2013.
