Resurrection Lutheran Church, 445 E. Stop 11 Road, Indianapolis, will host the Valparaiso University Chorale at 7 p.m. today.

The concert is free and open to the public.

The 48-voice ensemble performs selections from several musical eras. The performance will feature works by George Frideric Handel, Ralph Vaughan Williams, Stephen Paulus, Charles Ives, James MacMillan and Jake Runestad and modern choral music.

Edgewood United Methodist Church, 1820 Epler Ave., Indianapolis, will host the next Lenten breakfast March 14 in the United Methodist Church Lenten Breakfast Series. 

Six United Methodist churches will host a breakfast on the six Saturdays preceding Palm Sunday.

All breakfasts start at 7:30 a.m. and end at 8:55 a.m.

The March 14 guest speaker will be Benjamin Joel McCann, president of Catalist Consulting. He is ministry associate to the area coordinator for MyHope with Billy Graham. He also serves local youth sports as board member and coach.

A freewill offering will be accepted to support the church’s ministries.

Rocklane Christian Church, 4430 Rocklane Road, Greenwood, will host a community spaghetti dinner March 15.

The dinner is a fundraiser for a medical clinic in Haiti.

The dinner will be 12:30 to 2:30 p.m.

Cost is $5 for adults and free for children 5 and younger.

The meal includes spaghetti, bread, salad, dessert and drink.
