John M. Brennan

MOORESVILLE

John M. Brennan, 58, of Mooresville and Kapalua, Hawaii, died Tuesday, March 3, 2015, at Community Hospital South in Indianapolis.

John was born Sept. 27, 1956, in Washington, Indiana, one of five children, to the late Matthew J. and Elizabeth (Hastings) Brennan. He graduated from Washington High School and Vincennes University.

He worked in health care for a number of years. For the past 25 years, John’s entrepreneurial spirit led him as the co-owner of Golden Care Inc., Eagle Point Resort in Bloomington and Staff America Inc.

John was a hard worker but also enjoyed traveling and flying, and he had a varied and broad taste in music.

Survivors include his wife, Susan (Haws) Brennan, to whom he was united in marriage in 1992; children, Christine Toll of Indianapolis, Brandon Runkle of California and Samantha Renner (Matt) of Mooresville; and two grandchildren, Emerson Toll and Everett Renner.

Friends and family will gather from 2 to 4 p.m. Saturday in the chapel at Carlisle-Branson Funeral Service & Crematory, 39 E. High St., Mooresville. Pastor Alan Baumlein will officiate John’s celebration of life immediately following at 4 p.m. According to John’s wishes, cremation will take place at the Morgan County Crematory in Mooresville.
