INDIANAPOLIS
Ruth R. Prather Shreffler, 87, passed away February 26, 2015.
Survivors include her children, John “Rod” (Anne Marie) Prather, Larry (Janet) Prather, Debbie (Jeff) Smith and Kerry (Joy) Prather; stepchildren, Dan and Rita Kathleen Shreffler; sisters Ovie Allen and Linda (David) Whited; 10 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husbands, John M. Prather and Dale O. Shreffler.
Services will be at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday at Singleton Community Mortuary and Memorial Center. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. today at the mortuary. Interment will be at Greenwood Cemetery.
Memorial contributions have been suggested to the Mt. Pleasant Christian Church.
