WHITELAND
Anthony S. “Tony” Blackburn, 62, of Whiteland, passed away Saturday, Feb. 21, 2015.
He was born Dec. 17, 1952, to the late Ralph and Wanda Faye (Bruce) Blackburn.
Tony married Sylvia Sue Bush on Aug. 8, 1991, in New Castle; she preceded him in death in July 2013.
He was a Vietnam veteran of the U.S. Army and was a founding member and co-captain of the Indy Fog paintball team.
He is survived by two daughters, Melissa “Nikki” (Jimmy) Shockley and Catherine “Cathy” (Dan) Milano; two brothers, Jeffery L. Blackburn and Mike Wampner; two sisters, Pamela G. (Walter) Koehler and Betty Wampner; and five grandchildren, Ciara, James and Anne Marie Shockley, and Alexis and Dimitri Milano.
He was preceded in death by his wife; two brothers, Ralph W. and Bryan E. Blackburn; and a sister, Kimberly M. Blackburn.
Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Friday at Forest Lawn Funeral Home, 1977 S. State Road 135, Greenwood. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until time of service Friday at the funeral home. Burial will be at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens in Greenwood.
