Police went to Arizona to arrest a man who was wanted on a charge of child molesting in Johnson County.
Scott Metzler, 44, 305 S. Val Vista Drive, Mesa, was arrested on a charge of child molestation.
The Department of Child Services told the Franklin Police Department in June that a child had been touched inappropriately by Metzler. At the time, Metzler’s address was in the 2800 block of Traditions Court, Franklin, according to the police report.
Metzler currently is being held in the Johnson County jail on $8,000 bond.
