Letter: Planned bus line waste of taxpayer money

To the editor:

I have just returned from an all-too-short sojourn in warmer climates. I wish to (again) thank you for publishing my thoughts on a new bus line in Greenwood.

As I read the papers today, I note the bureaucrats are still plunging ahead with their planned bus line. This will be another waste of my (taxpayers) money, joining the (in)famous Greenwood bridge from nowhere to nowhere (the pedestrian bridge over Smith Valley Road near Craig Park), and further demonstrate the folly of bureaucrats as they squander, not THEIR money, but money belonging to struggling taxpayers.

Perhaps we need a change in bureaucrats; we could do no worse and just might get lucky with the next bunch.

Again, thank you.
