Five candidates have filed for town positions with one week left before the deadline.
Bargersville voters will have a contest for three-at-large seats on the town council, but at this time, not until the fall. Dale W. Wright, a Democrat, filed this week.
So far three Republicans also have filed.
Four Republicans have filed for Prince’s Lakes Town Council at-large, including Greg Nelson and George Smeltzer. Jason Allen Ramey filed for Trafalgar Town Council at-large, and Phillip O. Wilson filed for Whiteland Town Council Ward 3.
People seeking party nomination for a city or town position need to file by the end of the week.
Filing for the primary closes at noon Friday.
