Letter: Ready to leave big city for small hometown

To the editor:

At the beginning of October 2012 I lost my job due to osteoarthritis. Going into winter I quickly moved to Florida. (The warmer weather is supposed to help my bones). Now I have been here going on 2½ years. I was born and raised in Franklin, and my heart longs for my hometown.

I read the Daily Journal every day online to keep up with whats going on. I found I don’t like a big city. There’s way too much crime, and it’s very hot in the summer, so I talked it over with the rest of my family and found they miss home too. So in March, the first day of spring, we will be back home. Our small town, I hope it never gets big, and I can see all my old friends again.
