FRANKLIN
Edward Albert Marchant, 72, passed away Sunday, Jan. 18, 2015, in Franklin. He was a resident of Franklin.
He was born on July 4, 1942, in Portland, to Russel and Katherine (Butcher) Marchant.
Ed is survived by his children, Tony Marchant of Franklin, Jennifer Marchant of Indianapolis and Megan (Kurt) Knartzer of Trafalgar; three grandchildren, Brooke, Ezra and Rory; and one brother, Larry (Linda) Marchant of Nineveh.
He was a 1960 graduate of Franklin High School and was a veteran of the U.S. Army.
Ed was a postman with the Franklin post office for many years.
He enjoyed going to flea markets and attending auctions. He adored his grandchildren and loved spending time with them.
There will be no services.
