COLUMBUS
Yvonne G. Wray, 82, of Columbus, died at 6:06 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 14, 2015, at Our Hospice of South Central Indiana inpatient facility.
Mrs. Wray was a homemaker, a member of Parkside Baptist Church and enjoyed sewing and crafts.
Born in Bedford, on July 11, 1932, Mrs. Wray was the daughter of Ray and Colletta Ritchison Hedge.
She married Robert D. Wray on Sept. 29, 1950; he preceded her in death on Aug. 3, 2012.
Survivors include her children, Duane (Deborah) Wray of Indianapolis, Kenneth (Patricia) Wray of Franklin and Mary (Thomas) Heim of Columbus; sisters, Jacquey Richardson of North Vernon, Connie Cummings of Bedford, Mona Flynn of Bedford and Penny Hensley of Bedford; grandchildren, Dale (Christine) Wray, Bryan Wray, Aaron Wray, Amanda (Cory Mahon) Wray and Melissa Wray.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; and a grandson, Daniel Wray.
The funeral will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Parkside Baptist Church in Columbus with Dr. William E. Bailey officiating. Family and friends may from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday at Barkes, Weaver & Glick Funeral Home on Jonathan Moore Pike in Columbus, and 9:30 a.m. Saturday to time of service at the church. Burial will be at Garland Brook Cemetery.
