If you purchased a Powerball ticket in Whiteland for Saturday’s drawing, you better grab it and check your numbers.
One ticket sold at the Pilot gas station, 4982 N. County Road 350E, was a $10,000 winner in Saturday’s Powerball drawing. It was one of five $10,000 tickets sold for the drawing, which had no jackpot winner.
The ticket matched four of the first five numbers and the Powerball, missing the jackpot by just one number. The winning numbers from Saturday were 2, 9, 19, 28, 29 and a Powerball of 19, according to a news release from the Hoosier Lottery.
Both Powerball and Mega Millions jackpots are rising after several weeks without a winner. Tuesday’s Mega Millions jackpot was an estimated $246 million, and tonight’s Powerball drawing could net you $176 million.
