A Greenwood City Council race is contested after three more incumbents filed to run for another term.
Current council member Bruce Armstrong filed to run again for his District 3 seat. He will face Greg Hill, who filed earlier last week.
Ronald “Ron” Bates filed to run again for the District 4 seat in Greenwood.
Janet Padgett Alexander has filed to seek another term as Franklin clerk-treasurer.
All of the candidates who filed are Republicans.
Candidates seeking city and town positions can file for the primary until noon Feb. 6.
