INDIANAPOLIS
James S. “Jimmy” “Red” Peters, 85, died Friday, Jan. 2, 2015. He was a resident of Indianapolis.
Survivors include three children, Sharon (Robert) Kidwell, Robert Peters and Carol (Terry) Marsh; five grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; and a brother, William Jack Peters.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Shirley Frances “Cherie” Peters.
A service will be conducted at 12:30 p.m. Wednesday at Wilson St. Pierre Funeral Service and Crematory, Stirling Gerber Chapel, 5950 E. Thompson Road, Indianapolis. Visitation will be from 10:30 a.m. until service time Wednesday at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, in care of the funeral home.
