Loretta D. Meador, 72, of Waverly, passed away Saturday, Dec. 27, 2014.
She was born May 27, 1942, in Indianapolis.
She was a graduate of Southport High School and retired from Arvin Industries.
Loretta was preceded in death by her husband, Herbert C. Meador; a son, Jason E. Meador; her parents, J. Fred and Ethel Simon; a sister, Audrey A. Page; and three brothers, Carl E., Francis W. and Robert D. Simon.
She is survived by two sons, Gregory S. (Sheila) and Chad A. (Nelly) Meador; daughter-in-law, Faith Meador; grandchildren, Lindsey Crae and Bradley, Dylan, Chloe, Eli and Greyson Meador; three great-grandchildren; two sisters, Marilyn (Roy) Nicoloff and Linda (Robert) Schumaker; and several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be conducted at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Round Hill Cemetery at Epler Avenue and Meridian Street in Indianapolis.
Arrangements have been entrusted to G.H. Herrmann Madison Avenue Funeral Home, 5141 Madison Ave., Indianapolis.
