Dolores M. “Dody” Townsend, 85, Indianapolis, died Sunday, Dec. 28, 2014.
Survivors include two daughters, Sally (Jeff) Donahue of Greenwood and Maribeth (David) Murphy of Chatham, Illinois; two sisters, Linda (William “Bill”) Tracy and Christine Gerking, both of Indianapolis; a brother, John (Sharon) Todd of Indianapolis; 10 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Murlin Townsend; and a daughter, Trudy Donahue.
Services will be at 1 p.m. today at Singleton Community Mortuary and Memorial Center, 7602 Madison Ave., Indianapolis. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until service time today at the funeral home. Interment will be at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens in Greenwood.
Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, in care of the funeral home.
