Mary Beth (McCrea) Hord, 73, of Greenwood, passed away peacefully at home with her family by her side Dec. 18, 2014.
She was born March 9, 1941, in Indianapolis to the late Thomas Arthur and Bessie Elizabeth (Jackson) McCrea.
She married Wilbur “Corky” Hord in 1971, and he survives. She is also survived by her sons, Mark (Elizabeth) Fellows, Thom (Amy) Hord, Mike Hord; daughters, Gianna (Edward) Lynn, Wendy (Brad) Ehle, and Apryl (Steve) Sites; 16 grandchildren; four great grandchildren; brothers, Mike (Pam) McCrea, T.A. McCrea, Pat (Janet) McCrea and John (Bettie) McCrea; sisters, Jane Crawley, Sue (Pat) Galyan, and Barb (David) Dennis.
Mary Beth worked for United Home Life as an assistant controller before retiring. She also volunteered at The Refuge.
A memorial service will be conducted at 3 p.m. Saturday at Wilson St. Pierre Funeral Service & Crematory, Greenwood Chapel, 481 W. Main St., Greenwood. Friends may call from 2 p.m. until the service time at the funeral home.
