SOUTHPORT
Oral R. Beard, 95, died Monday, Dec. 22, 2014. He was a resident of Southport.
Survivors include two sons, Michael (Michele) Beard of Indianapolis and Mark Beard of Orlando, Florida; a daughter, Deborah (Andrew) Mayfield of Franklin; four grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Marjorie Beard.
A funeral service will be at 1:30 p.m. Monday at Simplicity Funeral and Cremation Care, 951 N. Main St. in Franklin. Visitation will be from 11:30 a.m. until the service at the funeral home on Monday. Burial will be at Greenlawn Cemetery in Franklin.
