Anna Evans of North Vernon and Scott Wood of Hope announce the engagement of their daughter, Megan Wood of Franklin, to Tyler DeSpain of Franklin, son of Christi Burton of Edinburgh and Herb DeSpain of Shelbyville.
Miss Wood graduated from Edinburgh Community High School in 2009 and from the University of Southern Indiana in 2013. She is an on-site assistant with Elwood Staffing in Seymour.
The future groom graduated from Southwestern High School in 2010. He is a machinist at NSK in Franklin.
The wedding is set for June 6 at St. Bartholomew Catholic Church in Columbus.
