Deborah J. Emerson Clark

EDINBURGH

Deborah J. (Brock) Emerson Clark, 61, of Edinburgh, passed away Saturday, Dec. 13, 2014, at her residence.

She was born March 8, 1953, in Franklin, the daughter of Loyd C. and Mary M. (Rhude) Brock.

She married Harold Wayne Clark on Nov. 3, 1991; and he survives.

She also is survived by her mother, Mary M. Brock of Brown County; a son, Boyd (Karen) Emerson of Edinburgh; a daughter, Angel (Bryan) Burkman of Edinburgh; grandchildren, Jousha (Danielle) Emerson, Jakob (Hannah) Emerson, Mary, Milas, Bradley and Breanna; brothers, Garland (Zuba) Brock of Brown County, Marvin (Barbara) Brock of Johnson County and Bruce (Robin) Brock of Brown County, sisters, Martha Napier of Edinburgh and Wanda (Tracy) Riddle of Brown County; and three great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her father and a brother, James Allen Brock.

She was a graduate of Brown County High School and a member of General Assembly Church of the First Born in Edinburgh.

She was a school bus driver for both Brown County and Edinburgh school systems. She also worked for United Technology of Edinburgh. She enjoyed spending time with her family and quilting.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday by the Rev. Mickey Pile at Who-So-Ever-Will Community Church, 623 S. Eisenhower Drive, Edinburgh. Calling will be from 4 to 8 p.m. today and from 9:30 a.m. until time of service Wednesday at the church. Burial will be at Rest Haven Cemetery in Edinburgh.

Arrangements are being handled by Eskew-Eaton Funeral home in Edinburgh.
