Drivers will face lane closures and backups on Interstate 65 this week, as work to repave sections of the highway continues.
Work will continue today, Friday and Saturday, with crews working from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., according to a news release from the Indiana Department of Transportation.
One lane will be closed while work is being done, which will cause backups. Motorists are advised to take U.S. 31, the release said.
Work will be done in the following sections the rest of this week:
- Today, in the southbound right lane between Franklin and Whiteland.
- Friday, in the southbound left lane between State Road 252 and Franklin.
- Saturday, northbound right lane between State Road 252 and Whiteland.
