Ray Frazier

FRANKLIN

Ray Frazier, 79, passed away Sunday, Dec. 7, 2014, at his residence in Franklin.

He was born Dec. 5, 1935, in London, Kentucky, to William Robert and Sally (Cheek) Frazier. He married Barbara Jean (Smith) Frazier on Dec. 9, 1956. She lovingly survives.

Other survivors include three children, Kenneth (Beverly) Frazier of Franklin, Russell (Billie) Frazier of Nineveh and Deborah Murphy of Knoxville, Tennessee; grandchildren, Amanda Frazier, Audrey Frazier, Keith Frazier, Angie Burnside and Stephanie Johnson; great-grandchildren, Austin Burnside, Kylie Burnside and Cole Boenig; two brothers, Dale Frazier and Don Frazier; and one sister, Mae Caudill.

He was preceded in passing by his parents; twin brother, Ralph; and sister, June.

He attended school in Kentucky.

Ray was employed by Arvin Industries in Franklin, retiring after 42 years of service in 1997.

He was a member of the Arvin’s 50 Club and a member of the Nineveh Masonic Lodge No. 317, F & A M in Nineveh. He enjoyed watching NASCAR racing, boxing and old Westerns.

Bradley Hicks will conduct a celebration of Ray’s life at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Flinn and Maguire Funeral Home, 2898 N. Morton St., (U.S. 31 North) in Franklin. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home. Burial will be at Greenlawn Cemetery in Franklin.
